Mixed Experience – Beautiful Views, but Check-In Needs Work The check-in process was honestly terrible — there was always a line, and the system really needs improvement. That said, Luke was extremely helpful once I was finally assisted, and I appreciated his professionalism. I loved my room, especially the gorgeous view and wraparound deck. Falling asleep to the lights across the bay and watching ships leave was magical. Waking up to the most amazing sunrise made the stay feel special. However, I did find a roach in the room, which was disappointing. On top of that, my room key didn’t work, and instead of resolving the issue quickly, I was told I’d have to get back in the same long line again — frustrating. The staff in general didn’t come across as very friendly, which made the overall experience feel less welcoming. This place has a lot of potential because of the setting, but they really need to improve the check-in process and staff attentiveness to make the stay as great as the views.

Waited 45 minutes to check in... Then was told the room I had booked was not available. Even though I had heard her try and upsell every person before me. The manager came out reluctantly and after about 20 minutes we got the room we had paid for. The staffing the restaurant and bar were great but the food... Not so much. Definitely stay somewhere else!

The room I stayed in was clean but in need of some updates and repairs. The noise in the room from the hotel water pipes all day and all night was terrible. It never stopped and I had a hard time sleeping through the night with all of the constant loud pipe noises. All of the hotel staff was friendly and helpful. The outdoor area by the pool was relaxing and beautiful. Right next door is an abandoned motel that is in really bad shape and an eyesore to see from the hotel windows. Feels unsafe at night on the street right outside the hotel. No general parking, only valet, which added to the cost of staying there.

Customer service was excellent. Young Caucasian male at the front desk and Ocean in Valet was absolutely excellent. Bed was very comfortable. AC was a little loud.
