Kawana Waters Cheap Hotels

First of all, the room was stifling hot when I entered only to find the air conditioning was unable to have the temperature lowered other than at Reception which is bizarre. The air conditioning on / off switch had a note to ring nine for Reception to get the temperature adjusted however the unit did not have a phone to ring nine - another failure. So a trip to Reception at least got some cooling on the go. Wanted to watch some television however there was no remote, another trip to Reception to get a substitute remote. The bathroom was next level of unbelievable. The slope of the floor was towards the door and there was no way of keeping the flow of the shower within the shower base thereby floodingthe bathroom floor and only numerous towels at the doorstop prevented it flowing out onto the carpet. Probably one of the worst hotel units I have ever experienced and it is only a few years old. Staff were pretty good and understanding and I think the building has some pretty significant faults which they are used to dealing with.

Although our stay was comfortable, the room was very small. It was a bit annoying to have to go through 2 doors to get into our room from the hallway. We chose Aquarius as it was close to the hospital but I wouldn't stay here again. It might be different in the 1 bedroom apartments but the studio was very very small.
