The Hotel was great as usual. Great room, comfortable bed, wonderful amenities. However, there were a few thingswe werent as happy with this stay. We go the Elms twice a year, once in March for our anniversary and once earky December for my birthday. We have done this for over 10 years. We were put on the 1st floor, which I thought was going to be a perk. However, the 1st floor rooms were up a steep ramp above the actual 1st floor which was difficult to walk. At the top of the ranp was a room service tray stacked with dirty dishes. It remained there the first day. The morning of our second day, a housekeeping cart was parked next to the room service tray, but it remained there another full day before the tray was removed from the floor. And the christmas decorations were a little bit of a letdown.This year. When the elm's hotel was independently owned, it was decorated over the top to the hilt every year. Since it has been taken over by sheraton, it's tastefully done, but not near as many decorations. I love decorations, and that's the whole point of me going there.In December. I hope that they maybe add a few more decorations back in the front glass entryway and the lobby. Overall we love the Elmas hotel!
