Check in staff was friendly and helpful. Only problem we had was the toilet didn’t work and we were told it would be 10:30 in the morning before anything could be done about it. Bathroom in lobby was dirty. Checked out early and got a room across the street.

Was okay except for the unexpected pool surprise

I love the Hampton Inn chain. This stay was a little less special when I saw a homeless guy come out of the pool and urinate in the bushes right next to the pool door. Other than that, it was okay.

The carpet has black mold stains and the room had a back odor. They said it was the only ADA room and I did not have a choice to change it. The shower was filthy and they did not clean my room until I requested them to do so. Breakfast food was the same every day and they ran out of fruit early in the morning. The bartender even overcharged us. The blinds in the room were not dark enough and the streetlights were blinding us at night. Very disappointing.

Corporate greed at its finest

We got a call about 3 hours before we were set to check in about a family member in an accident and clinging to life. We immediately got in the car to make the 6 hour drive. Shortly after, received a call they were gone. In the midst of our shock and grief, it completely left my mind to call the hotel. I take total responsibility for that. What I didn’t expect to receive was a charge on my card for nearly DOUBLE what the nightly room rate was. I absolutely expected to be charged for our one night stay, but the extra charge is nothing but pure greed. Left a message for a manager and no response. Will certainly make me not stay in a Hampton Inn again.

Our room was practically glued together. The facing to the AC unit fell on my foot (completely unprovoked) and the bed made a noise every time you touched it. This was a sleepless night and definitely not the quality of room I would expect for such a high fair.
