Super solid

The first floor restaurant served a yummy lunch one day with perfectly cooked salmon. I enjoyed a cocktail on the second floor at the very ornate bar. The room was very comfortable and the bed was exceptionally nice. Great stay.

Hotel is very clean, staff is very friendly and helpful. Walls are thin, lots of noise from elevators and other guests. Not the most comfortable bed for me. My stay was fine. If Im ever back in Louisville, I would try to stay closer to downtown, whiskey row area.

A historic haven

Loved this historic hotel! Wonderful ambiance, service and history made you feel like you were stepping back in time! The lovely bartender made us feel welcome and be sure to try the famous hot brown! The room was comfortable and well appointed and the 24 hour shuttle service to the airport was a very welcome bonus! I would stay here again!

Staff was very friendly. Rooms felt outdated smelly and a bit dirty. Beds felt old and soft, a bit uncomfortable Location was nice. Good walking distance to convention center where we needed to be. Terrible beds

Beautiful lobby and high end dining room and bar. Rooms were from the 90s and spring beds from the 80s. Staff was very friendly but I wouldn't stay again unless the beds were upgraded. Extremely uncomfortable.

We love the hotel and I would have given 5 stars on everything except for the following things: - Valet parking is a nightmare ($70 and fairly) - Asked for an extra pillow and never received it. - There was a water ring on the nightstand that was easily removed. Showed me the top of the stand was not wiped down.

Hotel was very nice and informative about things to donm in the surrounding area. The room was nice, shower was amazing and bed was very comfy. We were disappointed about the rooftop area, it had an amazing view but was lack on chairs/lounging space as advertised.

The hotel is beautiful and the staff were all so friendly and helpful. We had dinner at the restaurant and the food was definitely some of the best we've had! And our waiter Chris was attentive and had a great sense of humor and made our night very enjoyable. The room was clean and spacious only complaint I have is the bed was not very comfortable and not memory foam but a traditional mattress where you could feel every single movement during the night which is a downside for us because my hubby and I toss and turn a lot and we are used to a softer memory foam bed. Amy at check in was delightful and helpful and so was the lady at check out but I didn't catch her name. So other than the mattress our stay was wonderful and I'd definitely stay here again especially if they upgrade the mattresses.

Beautiful hotel. The area was great but on the edge of sketchy area. There are ALOT of homeless, mentally ill, prostitutes in Louisville. Fyi.
