Lack luster ADA accommodations

While the resort is as expected for the desert community I presented to the check in desk on crutches, had requested ADA accommodations in reservation…our room was about 20 yards from the parking access and was in the middle of the hall of rooms. The shower was not ADA accessible…my crutches slipped on the tile bathroom floor when it was wet from the shower. I thankfully brought a shower chair from home otherwise I would not have been able to shower.

I’ve stayed across the street at the Esmeralda possibly 15 times because of the location. I am very grateful that I stumbled upon this property which I never heard of previously -not in this space. Although minor imperfections to some of the features -the service offered exceeded the best the renaissance staff had to offer in any of those previous stays. I will stay again. Great vibe. The

We booked this property for a girls trip to Coachella, having never been to the Palm Springs area and weren’t sure where to stay. Safe to say- we were shocked and SO excited about this resort! The absolute best place I’ve ever stayed… so impressed. 10/10 perfect stay!

My friends and I came here for a much needed self care week end. The property was just like on the pictures, rooms were spacious, clean and nice. Beds were comfy, staff was very polite and helpful. My only negative was that I booked 2 rooms, and did not ask for connecting rooms at the time of booking, but before checking in that morning I called to request connecting rooms but the gentleman who answered said no it could not me done. The best they were able to do was put us on the same floor. Oh well, we had a blast and enjoyed the spa so great stay overall! I would go back.

The hotel has a charming, quaint feel, but it’s definitely outdated. Dining options are very limited, with only one restaurant and a bar on-site. While it’s advertised as kid-friendly, that wasn’t really our experience. There wasn’t much for children to do, and there were very few kid-friendly food or snack options available. It’s a cute spot, but not ideal for families with young kids.

But the rooms have very thin walls and we could hear our neighbors clearly. The check-in hotel staff was polite but the checkout Hotel lady named Rosa was very rude. She didn’t even care to ask us about our stay and when asked to take off extra charges for undelivered drinks, she told us that we would have to wait for her manager. Her manager was literally 10 feet away and could have called her but she didn’t. We then asked when she’ll be back, she replied that she was on the phone with another customer and didn’t know. I mean, how long does it take to help a customer? A common sense person would say it would take 5-10 minutes tops. But she was so rude that she stopped talking to us and looked away from us. We patiently waited and the manager was literally with us within 2 minutes. What was terribly shocking was that $18 worth of drinks were never delivered to our room and she ended up refunding only $12 saying she had adjusted the amount elsewhere across our bill but wasn’t clear about it. It felt like a shady business going on to loot the customers. It was anyways a small amount for anyone but this revealed the terrible attitude by a well known resort like Tommy Bahamas. It’s a shame. The service here is awful. Our rooms weren’t ready and our luggage was never delivered to our rooms until we called multiple times. Front desk calls unans

Such a disappointment!!

This hotel is very run down!! There were so many noises in the room at night (old heater and thin door separating me from neighbor).

In the evening it is lit up so beautifully with small lights hanging and fireplaces around the property. The front desk was so amazing and kind. Rooms decorated cute, appeared to be newly renovated. Very clean. Great place to hang out with friends and have cocktails.
