The room has been renovated, but it’s missing too many essentials to feel comfortable. The bed linens didn’t fit properly, so we had to constantly readjust them to keep the mattress covered. The mattress itself was comfortable, but the bed frame sticks out about six inches, which caused us to bump into it repeatedly. Lighting was also an issue — there were only two bedside sconces and no lamps or ceiling lights, making the room too dim. The smoke detector was missing entirely, with only exposed wires in the ceiling, which was concerning. The extra security lock on the door wasn’t functional and actually came off the wall when we tried to use it. In the bathroom, there were no shelves or ledges in the shower, so we had to place our toiletries on the floor. Overall, the room has potential, but these issues made the stay uncomfortable and, in some cases, unsafe

Clean, could use softer sheets and pillow cases and maybe an extra chair or something…just had a desk chair. The blow dryer settings did not work and it would only work when the reset switch was pushed on the plug in. Would stay at again though because of the price. Room matched the pictures too.

The room shows a lack of upkeep. Bare wires hanging from the ceiling where the smoke detector had been removed. The swing bar door guard lock was broken. The rooms were noisy from frequent doors opening and closing. I could hear neighbors talking through the wall.

The staff was very nice, room was clean and check in was easy. However the walls are paper thin, you can hear every noise. Someone had a dog barking all morning, even with the windows closed you can hear everyone using the trash can right outside the room. Definitely not a place to go to relax or rest, get it for the price and not the ambiance.

Owners did an excellent job of renovating and updating this elderly property. If I had any negatives, it would be no cupboards and there was a night light that shined directly into the room; there was only plantation shutters and no curtains. I was post-surgical, and had originally booked a king bed but my daughter decided would be best if we slept in separate beds. The staff also really listened and put us in a first-floor room as well, that was so very appreciated!!!
