This place is truly amazing! The unique architecture and large windows and patio doors not only give you access to the outdoor from virtually anywhere in the house, they also offer you a constant connection to the outdoors. The hexagon design of the main space is one of the most unique, yet innovative uses of space, that creates an open feel, yet defines kitchen, living, dining and lounge areas. The outdoor area with the wrap around deck is another incredible well thought out use of space with enough room and privacy for numerous activities, like hot tubing, bbqing, dinning, lounging or sunbathing, all in a setting of amazing views of nature, tranquility, sounds of the river and most importantly, privacy.

Amazing property and so much to do in the area. We were a group of girlfriends celebrating some milestone birthdays and couldn’t have chosen a better spot. Beautiful lake to cool off in within walking distance, lots of hiking trails and the soothing sound of the river right outside your door!

The house and property exceeded our expectations, and the view was better than the photos. Everything was clean, towels and sheets were well stocked. There was lots of space and the living areas were comfortable and could accommodate all of us. Amazing and relaxing getaway!

We booked this cabin for my sister’s bachelorette and it was perfect! There were 13 of us all together and we had the second small cottage booked along with the main cottage. The cottage was way better than we expected. It was filled with everything that we needed and the host was very responsive when we had any questions. The fire pit and the hot tub was perfect for the snowy weather. We will definitely be booking it again!

Friends annual get together

Hi everyone, My friends and I have an annual birthday round up and enjoy a weekend away together. This property allowed everyone to have their own space and gather when wanted. 5 bedrooms, large dining table, outdoor riverside fire pit, hot-tub and a beautiful kitchen with bar seating allowed us plenty of quality time. Diane and Shane were spectacular hosts and were prompt to answer and questions we had. Highly recommend this property.

THE BEST WEEKEND OF OUR LIVES!!

We just had our wedding here at Diane's Sanctuary. Every single guest gushed about how beautiful our wedding was and how amazing the mountains and river looked. We did not need to decorate much because the place was just that gorgeous. Diane also was incredible to work with. She offered to let us view the places multiple times before the wedding to ensure that we have the best experience. She provided an extra bathroom facility without request from us. She went above and beyond to make sure we had a great time.The place had everything you need for a nice time away from home. And perfect for a small wedding. Thank you Diane!!! We would absolutely go back to Diane's anytime!!

Fabulous

My husband and our children and grandchildren (8) had a wonderful time away. The house is gorgeous and very clean. It's a wonderful idea to have the bedrooms on each side. That worked so well. So tastefully decorated. The river offered so much for the kids to explore. We had a fire in the pit and everyone enjoyed having the hot tub so accessible. The stove was a bit of a challenge until we figured it out. It would be nice to have more towels. We had such a fantastic family weekend away we are booking for next year.
