The room was in good condition although it is furnished rather sparse…. there is plenty of space in the room to accommodate a small table for a glass of wine and a game of cards or Yahtzee etc in front of the window. A small night stand on the outside of the beds would be helpful for those of us that share a bed with our spouse or partner. Staff and check in was good. Note to housekeeping supervisor … we quickly learned that wearing the provided slippers was more important for cleanliness than comfort…. our bare feet would be soiled black from the floors within 30 minutes of being in our room. Obviously washing the floors is not part of the cleaning regime often enough if at all. Replacing soiled carpets with hard surface flooring is a smart idea to get rid of vacuuming but it doesn’t mean the new flooring is a cleaning free pass for house keeping duties. Once we realized how dirty the floors were we stopped going either barefoot or in our socks. We hope to continue being Coast customers in the future. Cheers!

Overall the hotel is very dated. The hallway had a musty smell. Google reviews depicted the real picture which i didn't check before booking. For a cup of milk, they made us go back and forth to multiple people. The way they spoke was quite rude as well. Not staying again

We always stay here. Staff are 110% at checkin, in the restaurant and in the cleaning of the rooms. The whole hotel is clean, tidy and modern. They are pet friendly, and those aren’t simply words; the staff all want to pet my doggie. The hotel is next to a small park with a large pond always filled with ducks. Great place to stay.

The staff was pleasant. The room was clean and a good location near district 1881, cafes. restaurants & grocery store. However, the sauna wasn't functioning properly as the temperature of the water was cold. We mentioned it to the front desk along with another customer and just got an apology. I think a small compensation like a gift certificate would have been nice as it would be a sign that we are indeed valued customers. In addition. the sauna had a lot of dead insects in it which signified to us that the maintenance/cleanliness of the pool/sauna/steam room was inadequate. Next time we'll try another place.
