The general condition of the hotel is fine , but i was feeling discriminated because i bring my Pomeranian service dog , and the guy from the front did a really bad expression and also was telling like “this is a service dog” I really felt discriminated it was a really bad experience I couldn’t sleep that night, people with services animal are not welcome in that hotel.

Gem of a hotel

What a gem of a hotel! We were on a road trip and wanted a hotel near Toronto. We thoroughly enjoyed our stay. Every employee was pleasant and welcoming. Our room was super clean and the bathroom was nicely updated. We used the pool and hot tub both nights, both clean and well cared for. From the clean hallways, stairways to the restaurant and parking lot, you can tell that the owners take great pride in this hotel.

This was my first time staying at Visitors Inn, and all the staff were super friendly. The room was super clean and the bed was very comfortable. It was nice to have a room on the bottom floor where I could unload right at my door. I was worried about the noise from the highway, but it was super quiet. I decided to stay in and order diner from the restaurant and it was amazing. The young lady that was working was friendly and she mentioned that her mom was the cook. I took my food back to my room and was so good. I could tell that she she cooks with passion. My chicken fettuccine was cooked to perfection. I will definitely stay here again when travelling back and forth from Nunavut to New York.

Callous , harsh reception

Front desk employee refused to check my daughter in at 8pm at night because she did not have a personsl credit card. ..would not accept her VisaDebit card. The reservation was made by me on my card for her. This was the reception they got after driving 5 hours to Hamilton from Sudbury for their son's surgery at 6:30 a.m. at McMaster children's hospital the following morning. I eventually convinced the desk person to process the reservation on my card as was planned. We will not use this hotel again...

Nice facility with a good restaurant. However, on Sunday night and Monday morning no restaurant service. The hotel's location is easily accessible from major routes. Inside the hotel, it is very quiet. Ground floor rooms have direct access to your vehicle.
