The place is ideal, with views to the race course. The toilets all what you need and more. The showers are the best. Big rooms and big comfy beds We got to stay with our dogs and the facilities are superb. Breakfast selection is also very good and you get to make your own waffles

We've stayed here numerous times but were a little disappointed this time around. At night the room was cold and in our opinion the bed sheets were to thin to keep warm at night. My preference but the hard pillow was still very soft. The breakfast on both nights we stayed was average at best compared to before. Many times there was not enough hot food and the coffee machines were full and needed emptying. Overall the hotel and room was excellent but these small points reduced the overall experience.

Great location. Nice and quiet whilst we were there. It was novel looking out over a racecourse. Two minor issues: eating area set aside for fish owners could do with some higher tables; the muesli I had for both breakfasts contained more cornflakes than muesli ☹️
