Hotels on the River in Gastown

The staff at the RR were extremely supportive of myself and my child who has additional needs. The rooms were clean and mostly soundproof. I rolled up a sheet and put it at the bottom of the door to block the (infrequent) noise from the hallway. My child loves the waterslide in the pool and spent many hours playing there. The pool attendant was extremely patient with us when my child was having trouble getting out of the pool at closing time and allowed us an additional few minutes to make the transition easier. We have been coming here for about 5 years because of how much my child LOVES the RR pool. Since the addition of the Gordon Ramsay steakhouse it seems as though the rest of the building hasn’t received the cosmetic attention it needs. During this visit the rotating front door was out of order, the two fountains out front were out of order, and the moving sidewalk in the bridge was out of order. It made the resort seem run down unfortunately. But we still enjoyed our stay and will return in the future :)
