Comfortable room with nice bathroom

This place had a nice feeling, modern and with good quality linen. Parking by your patio door. Small kitchenette that had all you need, although no sink. You have to use the bathroom sink. No real issue. Quite expensive for what it was but supply and demand in this busy and remote region dictate that. Alice May restaurant next door served up very decent food at a good price.

Good location in Franz Josef

Rooms are basic in appearance, but seemed to have everything we needed for our one night stay. Was a quiet room too which was good. Hotel was super handy for restaurants and the food store in town.

Great place in superb location with mountain view

Fabulous location and super large room with separate bathroom which was also super large. Walk to the restaurants. Walk to the helipads. On site parking. Fireplace (realistic electric)

Unfortunately it rained

This was a two night stop for us. Arrived late day one, checked in and shown our room. That’s it. Brand new bathroom which was nice. Kitchen, lounge and bedroom all in one large room which is typical motel set up. Bed was ok. Unfortunately the next day it rained all day and we were essentially stuck in the room. Could sit outside apart from the in area where the cars are parked. The best thing it has going for it was the view and the central location for all the eateries and bars.
