This motel is awesome. I couldn't find fault with it. The staff were great and the room and surroundings are spotless. I would definitely recommend staying here if you need accommodation in Franz Joseph.

Excellent kitchen area, bathroom with jacuzzi tub. Close restaurants in walking distance. You should definitely visit the kiwi breeding facility in town. Very close to Franz Josef and Fox glaciers.

Great choice

Great location, clean and friendly. Only complaint was that we had lots of internet issues — I had planned on working, but got knocked offline constantly. Tried to watch a streaming show and had to reconnect to the internet about every 4-6 minutes. Phones frequently couldn’t find the hotel network. No problem for most travelers probably, but we had counted on having strong WiFi. They said probably the weather, which is certainly out of their control. Loved everything else.
