Hotel was lovely. Staff so lovely and helpful. Couldn’t do enough. Especially young Tom on the bar and James on reception. The ladies too. Didn’t catch all their names. It’s in a lovely hidden location near the canal. Very picturesque. Our room was spacious and comfortable and clean. We had a swim. Pool was warm. Small, but big enough for a swim. Nice breakfast and plentiful. Again, staff were lovely and friendly. We look forward to staying again in the near future.

Reasonable hotel for the price. Ideal location for what my needs were. Rooms could be doing with a revamp, carpets stained and paintwork tarnished. Overall as long as you don't have high standards you'll be fine.

The only thing missing from the breakfast offering was pineapple! But overall we were very impressed with our first stay in a UK Holiday Inn, from the warm welcome at reception and the exceptionally clean room (nice touch was the handwritten welcome note on the bedside cabinet) to the standard of meals at dinner and the overall feel of the hotel. We will definitely return
