The staff were extremely friendly, accomodating and attentive. The room was clean and quiet to sleep in. The bed was comfortable. The nespresso coffee machine was a nice touch. Lovely hotel and surroundings, would happily visit again, especially got breakfast. The only let down is the gym is accessed via the pool, and overlooks the poolside which made for a not so relaxing swim with all the late teens coming and going. I think they must let non hotel guests use it aswell which let it down because of how loud they were jumping in and out the pool.

The staff were very friendly. It’s was also a relaxing venue. The views from the Hotel were beautiful. The town is lovely and only a short walk. The room was nice and the shower/bath was very good. The breakfasts were excellent. We ate in the hotel on one occasion and the meal was poor and seriously over priced.

We had a junior suite overlooking the river which was nice enough, we thought the bathroom required an update. No towel heating rail, no underfloor heating so it was cold. Perhaps we were spoiled the year before as we stayed in The Hermitage suite which was superb, far preferred it however I expect more expensive. The staff were all very helpful and friendly and we enjoyed the swimming pool. The breakfast was excellent and the evening meal was good, however I think there could have been more choices in the main meals menu.
