Based on other reviews I was very sceptical but turned out not so bad at all. The staff was polite, the building is old and ugly compared to other hotels but the rooms are clean and spacious. Directly facing the beach and I could watch the sunset from my balcony. For breakfast I recommend finding another place unless you are okay with a store bought bagel, cereal or pancake. Nothing fancy but good enough to stay there while enjoying beach, restaurants and area. I would stay again.

Property was dirty. Did not stay in room for more than 30 minutes. Staff said we would get full refund. Refund was not given and the whole process was made very difficult. Highly recommend finding different accommodations.

I think it’s better if they don’t offer breakfast and give a better price. I wouldn’t consider that a breakfast. I don’t know if all the rooms were the same like what we had but ours needed a little update especially the bathroom. The mattresses were very uncomfortable. The location was amazing.

not what i was expecting at all! i understand they had a lot of damage from the hurricanes however, this was beyond. We were made aware that there would be no elevators and that was fine but to have no restaurant or bar by the pool and not make your customers aware is so scummy! their website says theres a fitness center, there is not. the restaurant in the hotel was closed along with the bar pool. Dont they realize people book hotels for those ammenities? the room itself looked like it was painted by helen keller and furnished from a garage sale. One member from the front desk was zero help in regards to knowing anything about the area. Honestly, we only stayed to just sleep there and ended up getting day passes at another hotel. dont be fooled by the pictures, its all photoshopped. so dissappointing

Still in repairs from hurricane 8 months ago. However, railings were definitely wider than code! my 2 year old daughter almost went through the rungs on them which is terrifying. Beach chairs plastic and multiple were broken. Room could have been cleaner found hair in between cups in mini kitchen area. Overall location was excellent and very convenient. Bar behind hotel VERY LOUD music until midnight everynight of the week.

Hotel is very well located and room was fine. Staff available were very kind and always polite, but the hotel is clearly understaffed. The sofa bed had lot of stains. Ice machine in the 4th floor not working. Elevator not working (to be fair, I was informed in advance). The pool was taken by the seagulls. Trash bins always full, electrical wires exposed on the ceiling.

great location; otherwise very disappointing. Not worth the money. Looks good on the website, but the reality doesn"t come close to what is promised. Poor maintenance (building & grounds), common restrooms had doors torn off, no in-room phones, trash on stairwell not removed for days,. Website promised restaurant & bar. Wrong! Elevator not working. Maintenance and repairs haven't been addressed sinc last Fall's hurricanes. The property is apparently being run into the ground and is overpriced. You should remove this property from your website.

The property has become totally neglected from our previous stay. The couch should have been in the garbage because of the dirt and stains. Staff informed us that the building is going to be riped down and replaced in the future. Time to move on ...

Hell to f'ing no, never again.

From the moment we got there it was a bad experience. First off there is no sign telling anyone where the check-in office was located which was in the middle of the building instead of by the main entrance. got to office finally and was greeted by people who honestly didnt care I was there nor cared if they helped me. paid 700 for 2 1/2 night stay and still got hit with a 32 buck fee for showing up for the room, resort fee they call it. Got to room and I had 4 walls, 2 beds, A/C, and a TV that was worn out, Toilet that was clogged and flushed on its own. I said something to morning crew in main office and they fixed it 8 hours after I said something. The rooms were old looking, like left from 1970's type old. Honestly its the worst hotel Ive ever stayed in and that says alot. Only good thing about this place was there pool and its right next to the beach. There are 3 clubs/bars in walking distance and its loud on fri/sat nights till 2/3am. You can smell the weed in the air, watch the drunks get into fights on the street, got show from cops busting kids driving high or drunk and kids were always trying to fight them lol. Save your money and stay at the grand hyatt next door for 100 more a night. its worth it.
