Disappointed in the grouper meal. Filet was too thick therefore was not properly cooked at center. Very slow night for server so didn't want to complain, plus I normally don't. I have been in Florida 45 years and know when it is poorly prepared. Difficult to properly cook when too thick. Flavor was also bland. Not good black grouper for the price. Room and view were great. Normally I don't eat at hotels but I did that eve for my wife's birthday. Server was okay.

Loved everything about Opal Sands. Good eating options within walking distance, beautiful heated pool and beach access, couldn’t ask for anything better. Sandbar had great bar food and portions big enough to share. We took advantage of room service and the staff couldn’t be more accommodating and nice! Would definitely stay here again!

Beautiful beach. Lots to do. Staff is great. Valet guys are so helpful and polite. I had a room on the 12th floor in the middle. Got to see dolphins on there way to the marina every morning. Will definitely return.
