Staff were great and friendly jonnesha was the woman who helped me during my staff and she was polite, helpful and overall hospitality was phenomenal, everything was walking distance 1/2 minute distance, I saw parking had a fee but I didn’t rent a car, place was clean, had a room with a great view of the water and downtown tourist area

Overall, our stay at the Pontchartrain Hotel was pleasant and comfortable. The lobby was beautiful, very clean, and nicely decorated for Christmas, creating a warm and romantic atmosphere. The front desk staff were kind, personable, and provided great customer service. Our room was clean, quiet, and comfortable, with a nice city view. While the hotel is slightly dated, it added to the charm rather than taking away from the experience. The bathroom was clean, the bed was comfortable, and it was convenient to have a small store available when I needed medicine late at night. The main disappointment was breakfast. Although the food looked appealing, it did not taste good for the price. The food was cold, and something about the oil or butter used made it unpleasant. The breakfast staff were kind, and we did enjoy the Starbucks coffee. I want to emphasize front desk and restaurant staff provided great service. Another concern was the valet service. There was confusion about the parking fee, and a valet staff member made an inappropriate comment to me by saying my husband was mad at me, which felt unprofessional and cause unnecessary tension. Additionally, when our car was returned, one of the tires was nearly flat and required a trip to the dealership. Overall, the hotel itself was charming and comfortable, but the breakfast quality and valet experience need improvement.
