In the summer heat, the air conditioning was out for either the whole building, or just the section my room was in. The three nights I stayed, the temperature in my room was 79°F, 81°F, and 80°F. They gave me a voucher off the bill, which I appreciated. However, Expedia promised me free parking, and I was charged almost the full price of the voucher they gave me for 2 nights my car was parked there, and the 1 night my car was parked in a repair shop. Neither Expedia nor the hotel is taking responsibility for the parking charges.

Property is located downtown within walking distance of many restaurants and shops. The air conditioning was out for the whole hotel. It was 105 degrees outside and no one said anything at check in about A/C being out. Tried calling front desk and no answer. Went downstairs and was informed that A/C was out for whole building and they could give us a fan. If we would have known this at check in we would have canceled and gone to another hotel. Bad customer service.

We weren’t informed till we checked in that the hotel air conditioning had not been working for several days and wasn’t going to be back on during our stay. This gave us no time to look for other accommodations and the discount offered was not substantial. There was no communication about the cost of valet till check out. There were no refrigerators in the rooms.

At checkin we learned from another guest that the hotel did not have AC. It was nearly 100 degrees outside. The other guest said his room was 84 degrees and they offered him a fan. The front desk confirmed the AC issues and we said we couldn’t stay there. She promptly refunded our stay. We expected Holiday Inn to be in better condition. I now see that others have complained about the AC for the past two months! Do not stay here until this is resolved.
