Welcome to Cedar Suite, a cozy one-bedroom retreat at Snowater Resort in Glacier, Washington, made for ski weekends, quiet mountain escapes, and easy days surrounded by the North Cascades.



Spend the day skiing or snowboarding at Mt. Baker, then come home for the part that makes Cedar Suite especially appealing in winter: soak in one of Snowater's shared hot tubs, warm up in the cedar sauna, take a swim in the heated indoor pools, and finish the evening beside your own wood-burning fireplace.



Inside, large windows look into the surrounding evergreens, giving the living room a peaceful, almost treehouse-like feel. Curl up by the fire, stream a movie, or step onto the balcony for a little fresh mountain air.



The compact, well-equipped kitchen makes breakfasts, trail lunches, and après-ski dinners easy. A breakfast nook beside the windows expands to seat four and doubles nicely as a spot for coffee, cards, or a relaxed meal.

Cedar Suite is especially comfortable for two. For groups of three or four, the queen sleeper sofa can be prepared with advance notice. Additional guests are $25 per person, per night and include sleeper sofa bedding.



You'll also have a full bathroom, in-unit washer and dryer, WiFi, smart TV, DVD player, and free parking.



Snowater Resort



Guests have access to Snowater's extensive recreation amenities, including two heated indoor pools, shared hot tubs, cedar sauna, fitness room, children's playroom, billiards, ping pong, squash and racquetball courts, seasonal outdoor sport courts, playground, picnic and BBQ areas, walking paths, and more than 1,000 feet of Nooksack River frontage.



Bringing your dog? Up to two dogs are welcome with the applicable nightly pet fee. Dogs must remain leashed while enjoying the Snowater grounds.



Cedar Suite sits near the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest and approximately 30 minutes from Mt. Baker Ski Area, putting skiing, snowboarding, hiking, river walks, scenic drives, and mountain adventure within easy reach.



Whether you're chasing fresh snow, fall color, summer trails, or simply a few quiet days in the trees, Cedar Suite gives you a comfortable place to slow down, warm up, and enjoy the mountain.

The Neighborhood:

Cedar Suite is located inside Snowater Resort, a peaceful 20 acre mountain community along the glacier fed Nooksack River near Glacier, Washington.



Surrounded by towering evergreens, walking paths, riverfront scenery, and mountain recreation, Snowater is particularly appealing after a day at Mt. Baker. Ski or explore during the day, then return to indoor pools, shared hot tubs, a cedar sauna, game rooms, and plenty of space to unwind.



The town of Glacier is nearby for coffee, restaurants, and local stops, while Mt. Baker Ski Area is approximately 30 minutes away. Hiking, biking, river walks, scenic drives, and access to the Mt. Baker Snoqualmie National Forest make this a true four-season basecamp.

Other Things to Note:

Wi-Fi & Mountain Connectivity



Cedar Suite has DSL WiFi, typically around 1–5 Mbps depending on usage, weather, and local service conditions. Both Snowater clubhouses offer high speed Starlink internet for guests needing stronger connectivity for video calls, streaming, or larger downloads.



Cell coverage can vary in Glacier, so downloading directions and check-in information before arrival is recommended.



Winter Travel



Mountain weather can change quickly. Snow, ice, heavy rain, and freezing temperatures are possible during the colder months, and AWD or 4WD vehicles are strongly recommended for winter travel.



Mountain Living



This is a rural mountain environment shared with local wildlife. Please keep food and garbage secured and doors closed.



Groceries & Dining



For larger grocery trips, we recommend stocking up in Bellingham before heading toward Glacier. Local markets and restaurants are available but choices and seasonal hours can be limited.



Parking



Snowater requires vehicle registration. Before arrival, we'll request your vehicle make, model, color, and license plate so your parking permit can be prepared.
