NOT HAPPY!
Upon arrival at at 3pm we were told our room was not ready which was fine given check-in was at 4pm. We came back at 4:15 and our room still was not ready. We were told another 30 minutes. At 5pm our room was still not ready and at 5:10 we asked to speak to a manager. No manager was on site so we were put on the phone with the manager who said that 4pm arrival is not guaranteed and they were working as fast as they could.
This room was paid in advance to Hotels.com however when we were able to check in we were charged an additional $25 for "incindentals". Upon our departure a $16 fee was deducted from the incindentals charge for parking. Very unhappy about this charge as we were not made aware of a parking fee from Hotels.com when booking OR from Hampton Inn at check-in. After driving for many hours we expected our room to be ready at the 4pm check-in time and to compound the situation the staff was not at all sympathetic or friendly.
