Room was nice and quiet. Great view. Not much of parking due to renovation and breakfast was lacking. At 830/9am no food out and it ended supposedly at 10am.

The room was very nice and clean. The view was beautiful. It was disappointing the entire pool deck was closed. No sitting and watching the waves. No beach access. Parking was limited-we went to dinner and returned to getting the only parking spot left. Parking was $15/night. Breakfast was good however the waffle maker was out of order.

The hotel is not like it looks in the pictures; it's somewhat run-down, the air conditioning in the room wasn't working properly, and the breakfast was terrible. This is the first time I've stayed at a Hampton Inn and been so disappointed!

Ocean front balcony looked over outside restaurant and their garbage cans. Restaurant Manager’s(??) dog was pooping on area around restaurant in mornings when I looked out. Pool under reconstruction. Loud and dusty. Was not aware of construction until we arrived. Painting inside downstairs near breakfast area. Elevator safety questionable.

The staff were great! I was in room 714 and the sliding glass door didn’t lock. This is a huge safety concern for families. In addition the lobby smelled heavily of natural gas. We were told that it was from the boiler or laundry room. Regardless, it’s not a great smell or first impression.

Parking due to hurricane was limited and cost. Elevators were creepy-small and dark,also no hot tub, pool, or beach access due to hurricane - those were the only negatives (and understandable). The rest was great!

I wanted so badly to like this hotel but it is really a disaster right now. No pool, no beach access, limited parking. Cigarette butts on the floor of our room when we arrived. My daughter got a rash from the sheets on night one. I am pretty sure they weren’t cleaned before we arrived. We asked for our room to be cleaned every day and it was not cleaned once in 6 days. On days 4 & 5 I called twice a day. Finallysomeone came in took the trash and left more towels but didn’t take the pile of old ones or make the beds or anything else. So strange. The Continental breakfast was supposed to be until 10 every day but food was not replaced after 8 or so. There was yogurt and fruit one day but not put out the rest of the days. The tea ran out the first day we were there and never replaced. On checkin we were told there was a parking fee of $15/night even though this was not listed anywhere on Expedia. We asked for it to be waived due to the fact that the hotel amenities were all closed. They agreed and then charged us for it on checkout anyway. I have called twice to have it removed & it is still on my card. This made the hotel cost per night more expensive than some of the newer hotels that still had pools and beach access. The only positive was front desk staff were nice and really seemed to want to help. KayC in particular checked on us and genuinely wanted to try and make our stay better, there was just no hope right now. What a mess of a Christmas trip. Never again.

The room was neglected. There was only one chair available, the room was dark and dank. Lights in bathroom, in the entry, and 2 very sad lights between the beds. The electrical outlets did not work properly and problems with the TV. Plus a $15 night fee for parking across the street, not on Hampton Inn property, plus an additional $10 a day for incidentals which is supposed to be refunded. The night clerk was not friendly and I think she managed to run-off a customer that was checking in at the same time I and my family were. This is the worst Hampton Inn I have ever stayed in, and I have stayed in many in the past 10 years traveling between OK and FL. Breakfast was lacking in several items including biscuits. I will tell you honestly, if this had been the first time I stayed at a Hampton Inn, I would never give you a second change. It was that bad.

This was a perfectly adequate stay. We loved our balcony looking straight out onto the beach. The room looked clean enough but had kind of a wet-dog smell that made me concerned about mold. We weren't interested in the pool so no issues with it being closed though it was rather unsightly. Parking was limited but we did always find a spot. Staff were friendly and kind. We had no remote in our room so we called the front desk and they said they would "send up a hosekeeper to check." After an hour we put out our do not disturb sign and just went to bed. The next day, I asked at the front desk and they just pulled out a remote from a drawer and gave it to me.... a bit annoying that thdy couldnt have done that the night before. Breakfast was okay. Hot options included premade Western omelets and chicken sausage, nothing plainer such as scrambled eggs. There were hard boiled eggs available. Waffle maker was down. Overall the stay didnt wow me but served the purpose. The only real complaint I had was the $15/day charge for parking. Come on. When you make a reservation at a hotel it is assumed that you will most likely arrive in a vehicle. And this wasn't off site parking, it was right on the hotel property. Spaces were limited due to construction, that was understandable. But a place to park your car should be considered one of the most basic amenities. So as I said, adequate. But there are properties nearby that are comparably priced and I will probably try one of those next time.
