the staff was awesome. response time within minutes. the room spotless, although needing a refresh. the location was pretty central to downtown, the mountain and spa and waterfront. Gustavs restaurant was a nice surprise

It was modern, clean, fresh. There is no elevator so schlepping your mountain equipment up the stairs if you need to is a pain. Great place but for price would not say 5 star value

This hotel looks much better in photos than it does in real life. There are no elevators, so be prepared to carry your luggage up a flight of stairs. During check-in, staff offered to help us bring our luggage upstairs. However, during check-out, we called the front desk for assistance bringing our luggage down and no one answered. We then asked a housekeeper if they could help find someone, and they replied, “We don’t typically help with luggage.” This was frustrating since we had received help during check-in, so that statement was clearly untrue. The room did not include complimentary water. Water is a basic necessity, yet guests are told to purchase it from the vending machine or walk to the fitness center to use the water fountain, which is quite far from the rooms. The indoor pool was nice and my friends enjoyed it. Everything else was just average—nothing stood out as above standard. The room did include a mini fridge and microwave, which was a plus. When we arrived, the heater was not working, but the front desk promptly sent maintenance to fix the issue, which we appreciated. Overall, this was a subpar experience, and I’m glad our stay was only one night. I will not be booking this hotel again in the future.

The room is basic but very clean, and the hotel itself is well maintained. The staff is super friendly, which I really appreciated. The only downside for me was the noise. The walls are extremely thin, at least in my room on 2nd floor. I could hear everything: hallway noise, neighbors talking, people using the tap, toilets, plastic rustling, even sounds from food being eaten. Because of this, I didn’t sleep well at all and kept waking up throughout the night due to regular activity noises (not loud or disruptive behavior, just normal conversations and bathroom use). If you’re a heavy sleeper, this place would probably be perfect. But if you’re a light sleeper like me, the noise level can be very frustrating. That said, the place itself is lovely.

The first time I stayed here the room was completely updated. This time we were placed in extremely put dated rooms. We also had to be moved because one room had clearly just been painted but never aired out and the smell was terrible. Gave me a headache the minute I walked in. The staff were great. Moved me to another room thankfully but the decor is very outdated. I understand renovations take time and are costly but these room could benefit from a simple update in furniture and new curtains. It would do a world of good to make them feel more modern.
