The hotel room was very comfortable, clean and well maintained. We were welcomed at the reception desk and again at the restaurant where the food, wine and service were excellent albeit it a little pricey. The friendliness and information conscierge, David, was an excellent source of information re Christchurch and made our stay and forward travels that much better.

Only a short stay 4.00pm till 4.00am.
Staff welcome was warm & friendly & informative.
Children had a swim and a spa.
Wife had a complimentary drink.
I went to the airport to drop off rental car...hotel offered shuttle back but rental company provided lift back.
Kids showered then we went to restaurant for dinner at 6.45...we were 15 mins late for our booking and an identical family had been sat at our table...although busy, staff put 2 tables together in even better position in restaurant and provided quick efficient friendly service.
Children found jigsaw puzzle activity fun while waiting for meals.
Kids meals were tasty and healthy
Mum and Dad food was top notch...best meal of salmon my wife and I have had in a long time...lot of detail and flavour in the dish. Recommend this dish to everybody.
Beds and pillows were best beds we had slept in in NZ...very comfy.
We went to bed early..no noisy interruptions.
Up at 3.00am and hotel staff provided a shuttle at 3.45am to the international airport for an early morning flight out.
An amazing 12 hour stay ...thankyou to every single staff member mentioned above including the bar staff and the concierge who helped connect me to the internet (which was full and free) and the staff on the graveyard shift when we left.
Give taxis the flick when you come to Christchurch with our Christchurch Airport hotels. Whether you’re arriving late, flying out early or just want to avoid the traffic, these hotels make travelling easy. Plus, the airport is only 10km from the city, so you’re still close enough to enjoy Christchurch’s main attractions. Soak up the city suburbs or enjoy some of that New Zealand nature in the Botanic Gardens or the Willowbank Wildlife Reserve. With our Christchurch Airport hotels, it’s all up to you!
New Zealand’s third largest city, Christchurch has bounced back since the earthquakes of 2011 as an exciting travel destination with plenty of things to do. Addington is one of the funkiest suburbs on offer, with live music venues and cool cafes. Cashel Mall is becoming a prime place to grab some bargains thanks to the Re:START project helping restore a range of shops in the city.
Christchurch Airport was New Zealand’s first international airport and is now the second busiest in the country. There are heaps of things to do while you wait for your flight. Grab a coffee or some food, enjoy some duty-free shopping, kill some time in a video game arcade or cross the road to the International Antarctic Centre. At this cool-as-ice location, you can wander Antarctica without leaving New Zealand, meet penguins and take a simulated Antarctic cruise with cool 4D special effects.
A drive away from the airport is the Christchurch Botanic Gardens, where you can see the sights from a caterpillar shuttle that runs on electricity (it’s as cool as it sounds!). This place contains more than 250 varieties of roses and an archery garden. Willowbank Wildlife Reserve is another awesome spot, where you can explore the unique NZ plant life and meet the local kiwi bird.
Don’t waste your holiday money on cabs! Book some of our Christchurch Airport accommodation and a flight to Christchurch and you’ll be ready for take-off!
