Our stay was unfortunately not a great experience. The room amenities were very lacking — there was no kitchenette or basic facilities, only a kettle. This made the room feel quite poorly equipped compared with what we expected. The room also had a large window facing a main road but no curtain or proper covering, which meant there was very little privacy and a lot of light coming in. The shower was another major issue. The water temperature constantly fluctuated between boiling hot and freezing cold, making it very difficult to use. One morning there was no hot water coming from the tap at all, which meant we couldn’t shower. To make matters worse, at around 8am on Saturday morning a man was doing gardening right outside the room using loud electric power tools, which was very disruptive. Overall, the stay was quite disappointing due to the lack of amenities, poor shower, and noise early in the morning. Unfortunately, it didn’t provide a comfortable or relaxing experience.

There was alot of spider webs and i found a cockroach in the bath room area alive um the room lookd like the cleaner got lazy and skiped changeing the sheets and the suger and coffee hadnt been restocked either it was disgusting

Late check in – was quick and easy. A note on the reception front door was clear; the bar staff was very nice and hospitable. The bar/restaurant next door was perfect with great food for us 8 adults after a long drive. Thank you for the complimentary bottle of water. The room, carpet, curtain and sheets were clean though the property has obviously aged. The bed and pillows were quite comfy. There was no sign to hang outside the door “do not disturb”. The complimentary biscuits were replenished and our towels were replaced even when we were only there less than 20hrs from checking in. Parking was uncovered, not gated – that’s ok. Our van was parked right outside or door. Key box for the early check out was easy and visible. Cons: hot water/shower: off and on limited wifi: poor

Yes the parking was easy, the bedroom was comfortable the nice things are the outdoors area looking at the old trees pigeons nesting I had a room looking into it across from the Mobil petrol station, the patio area where to seat was completely rundown the place would have been perfect in the 1960’s since then it had a succession of owners that let it rundown
