Great hosts, attentive to any communication. Property just as listed, great decor and amenities, spacious. Would have loved to have had another TB in the master bedroom to watch something while kid also entertained in living room. 2nd time staying here and would book again. Close to Northwestern University to visit college kid.

EXCEPTIONAL rental!!! The property lived up to the photos - spacious, very clean, all the amenities we could need. The checkin and out process was incredibly easy. We have stayed at MANY rentals in Chicago and this (for the 4 of us) exceeded them all!. I would highly recommend and we will stay here again in the future!

Great Home Base to Visit the Area

The second floor flat was well lit with great space in the kitchen for cooking, nice place to eat overlooking the neighborhood, and a great place to sit and watch a movie or the game. Beds were comfortable and bathrooms were nice. Overall, a great place to stay for a visit to the area.

Just lovely!

I can’t say enough about the Oakton St. Inn. The apartment was beautiful, so clean and very thoughtfully appointed. Beds were super comfortable and the linens were so nice. I’m a total bed snob and this lived up to my picky expectations. There was plenty of room for our family to watch a movie and enjoy a sit down dinner. We will be back!

This place sets the gold standard

We absolutely enjoyed it and found it very easy to enjoy our stay at the Oakton St Inn. The place is absolutely spotless and is exactly as shown. As you walk in you are embraced by a very cute surprisingly large space that has so many tasteful local decorations. It's a fun place. She has one of everything that you need right there. For those who are seeking more details, the space is well-balanced. The kitchen has all updated like new appliances and one of everything including a smoothie blender, toaster, and pots/pans, etc.There are 2 coffee options - a pour-over or a french press. There's a Trader Joe's and grocery nearby. We enjoyed many meals here. The bedrooms are a nice size and have great bedding and mattresses. Bathrooms are also nice sized and have a hair dryer. Spotless showers with newer tile and rainfall showerheads. Parking is very easy. Communication with our host was easy, prompt, and always helpful. We had no issues and absolutely enjoyed our stay.

We spent three nights at the Oakton St., Inn, and it was perfect for our family. Plenty of space, beautifully decorated and immaculate. The kitchen was clean, modern and big with everything we needed to cook all of our own meals, The property was perfectly situated between Evanston and Chicago. We will definitely stay again!

Cozy and clean, with a parking spot!

Oakton Inn was a really nice 2 BR with a great location in Evanston. It had everything I could need and it was also a calming and cozy place. The owner took extra effort to make sure I could work from the apartment. Easy to get in/out, and I really appreciated a driveway parking spot waiting for me.
