Booked this for one night. As soon as we got there driving up to the building you see bordered up windows and torn up blinds…. They charge 20 dollars for parking. We heard a mouse in the ceiling and was not a great stay….

The front desk staff is outstanding. George was a gentleman. The other two I interacted with are the young lady from Macedonia and an Indian fellow who is studying computer science. All three are polite and professional. It was very nice that when George told me how to recognize the shuttle from the airport, he mentioned that it was blue and orange. The orange was the key, as no other shuttle has that color. The lobby is outstanding. Easy to work and read there. Spacious, quiet, clean. I recommend that you offer a non-sweet dry cereal for breakfast; both choices available were sugary. I also recommend that you have a bagel slicer available. The room was spotless, which was very nice. The guy who drove the shuttle from the hotel to the airport at 7 am was wonderful. And very strong. I would definitely stay at this hotel again.

Improve the shuttle!

It is hard to objectively rate a hotel after waiting over one and a half hours for the shuttle from the airport. You absolutely MUST state in your email regarding the shuttle that it is offered in conjunction with Hyatt Place Hotel, and that the van has predominant Hyatt Place lettering on the side, with a SMALL square with “La Quinta Hotel”, and that the van is blue and yellow (not just blue) and that the van may stop several hundred feet from OR at Door 2C of terminal 2 arrivals. Believe me, this will help your rating.

Check in staff couldn’t have cared any less we were there but she checked us in I guess. Rooms were nice. Very quiet for being at O’Hare. Breakfast was subpar.

The property and room were very clean, but the AC wasn’t working and the staff wasn’t helpful about it. The maintenance worker said I shouldn’t expect the room to be below 75 degrees because the sun had just gone down an hour ago. The room never cooled down and I couldn’t sleep and I was denied my request to change rooms.
