Lovely hotel but if you go when it’s hot you are going to regret it the room has no air con and we were dripping with sweat it was an over not great when you want to get ready to go to a christening honestly don’t ….

The hotel is tired and dated and needs a good refurbishment it was 32 degrees and no air conditioning in the rooms but also the windows are wired up so we couldn’t even get any air through the room it was so uncomfortable the whole hotel were complaining and I know we can’t control the weather but it’s time some money was spent bringing this hotel up to the modern standard considering your charging top prices also I thought the car park charges were very steep £36 for 3 nights

The staff in every section were fantastic, Cheerful, helpful and very polite. Food was cooked to perfection, Breakfast had plenty of choice and would cook extra things for you if they had it. For us, a couple in our 70's it was absolutely 100% perfection and if we come back to Chester again we will certainly be staying here.

Lovely, welcoming hotel

Our check in was really easy and the staff were very welcoming. Our room was spacious, clean and comfortable. It was really helpful being able to use the carpark before and after our check-in and check out times.

Canal side Mill Hotel

Nice pleasant hotel. Centrally located in Chester along the canal. Room was compact, Light bulb missing from bedside light. Room was warm, and unable to open windows due to security locks meant that the fan that was provided did little to move any cool air around the room. The Spa facilities were very good, although the changing room was poorly managed, with locked lockers with keys missing meant you had limited options to lock your change of clothing away safely.

Lovely hotel. Walkable distance to town centre. Lots of places to eat. bars close but didnt hear any noise. Club double room very spacious. Bed comfy. Breakfast included buffet style. Booked with expedia so had to pay for on site carpark at hotel. Feel a bit steep at £12 a day. Spa available if you want it. Staff friendly.

It’s in a walkable location to a halal BBQ restaurant, shopping areas n the new bus station. Good choices for breakfast n with the menu at the restaurant n the lounge. However some problems were noted when we checked in - stains on coffee mugs in the room, the portable fan in the room was full of dust n the heater was also dusty. A staff member did try to correct these problems but the fan was still dusty even after he had cleaned it! So he brought us another fan. I just covered up the heater with a towel so I don’t have to breathe in the dust! Clearly, housekeeping needed to do a thorough cleaning. Otherwise our stay was alright. Also, the staff did offer us another room for easier access to the shower, however, it was besides the main road n noisy, so we declined the offer - thank you though for listening n trying!
