Air conditioner didn’t work. It was too hot to sleep and when it was working made a loud banging sound. Maintenance came to fix it twice but it never worked. Front desk didn’t seem to care. But maintenance was friendly. Said they should’ve switched our rooms for us.

Walkable to shops and restaurants. Mall right across the street. Hotel is under construction so half the elevators are not working. Power was out in the east tower so there wasn’t Internet the first day.

The hotel looks nice from outside but old from inside. All food places in the hotel building are very expensive. The positive thing was connection with arena and venue. Service was not ready to provide extra step to assist.

The block that this hotel is on is incredibly busy through the night: traffic, honking, sirens, people shouting and fighting. I found the condition of the room to not match what I paid for staying at Omni. Everything costs extra, which was not made clear through Expedia when booking. No free WiFi, no free parking. I came to Omni after my original Expedia reservation turned out to be in a very dirty, unsafe Extended Stay. I was in a dire situation and Omni was the nearest place with availability. Not at all worth the price, but I don't know Providence well enough to know where else to have gone.

You can hear street traffic, even 19 floors up. Drapes did not function. Internet accessibility did not work. Did not tell you that you can self park in the adjacent convention center garage on the 4th floor gorc$25 vs their $45 valet parking. We lost electricity in the entire wing for several hours .
