I was a bit disappointed with this hotel. I booked it for its convenience to the convention center and because it was the choice of my daughter's cheer gym. Check-in was easy and quick. The room was not that clean. The cabinets were a bit dusty, the phone looked like it had not been cleaned in ages as well as the wooden design in the bathroom had a pound of dust. The towels are terrible, for such an expensive hotel, the quality of the towels should be better. The cotton was falling apart. Now, on to the elevator..they were the worst! A mom and her daughter got stuck; they were the slowest elevators. We always had to walk down the stairs from our room, but you can't go back in through the stairwell, so waiting for an elevator was a nightmare. When we checked out, we waited about 20 minutes for the elevator, which was going up 15 floors, but we didn't care because we knew we would never get down. Then, the issue with the valet not having the information of us paying for the parking even though we had checked out 5 hours prior. Just not the best experience overall. I will say it is a beautiful hotel, and the lobby areas are immaculate, but for the price, I would stay elsewhere next time.

False Imprisonment

I booked 4 rooms for my wife’s 60th birthday. It was supposed to be a special night. The short version of my experience in Hell is all was going well, until I needed ice. I called the desk to find out where the ice machines were. Every floor has an ice machine by the elevator Mr. Goldstein. I left the room in my socks with my room key and the ice bucket. To my surprise the ice machine was not working. I decided to jump down to the 19th floor and use that machine. The elevator was extremely slow and malfunctioning so I decided to take the 1 flight journey by the stairs. When I tired to get back into the hallway the door was locked. I then wondered did the door on the 20th floor lock behind me. There were NO SIGNS. I am type one diabetic and my sugar was rapidly plummeting. Stress only exasperated this. No phone. No shoes. I found a phone on the 18th floor. Whew! But guess what, no answer. After a few more floors I found an cracked door. This event ruined our family celebration. I need to hear from someone in management soon.

Stayed there to watch the NCAA tournament. For such a busy weekend the hotel was very quiet and comfortable. The room was large and clean. Would stay there again.

I love to stay in this hotel, every time I come to Providence this is my place to stay, I just wish they let us know the pool and jacuzzi is not working, I went way before my meetings to enjoy them. Frustrating
