The crowning glory of Kingfisher Cottage is its spectacular garden. Summer days can be spent reading a book while taking in the incredible views across picturesque fields while evenings are for long al fresco dinners or barbecues. With the enchanting River Isbourne meandering past the garden, you can relax to the sound of babbling water passing you by. From the end of the garden, you can join a footpath for beautiful country walks or into scenic Winchcombe high street for a stop at one of its lovely pubs or cafes.
Ground Floor
Kitchen:
The lovely, bright country kitchen is superbly equipped with Rangemaster double oven and five-ring gas hob, double sink, microwave, a full height fridge (a four-drawer freeze is in the utility room), and a long breakfast bar. French doors open to the patio and garden.
Utility Room:
Just off the kitchen is a handy utility room where you will find a four-drawer freezer, sink, washing machine and tumble dryer.
DiningRoom/Games Room:
This fabulous conservatory with its arching glass roof and fantastic countryside views is both a dining and games room for entertaining evenings. A 10-seater dining table is ideal for sociable dinners with a sound bar to play some atmospheric music, followed up with tournaments on the pool table. Sets of French doors leading to the garden and the living room can be opened, creating exceptional indoor-outdoor spaces for socialising and celebrating a special occasion. During the day a comfortable sofa turns the room into a sun room for relaxing with a book, while underfloor heating creates a cosy space in cooler months.

The elegant living room with three sumptuous sofas, gas-fired, wood burner effect fire and smart TV is a lovely spot to gather in the evening. French windows open to the conservatory creating space for socialising.

This ground floor bedroom is furnished with twin single beds, chest of drawers, wardrobe and dressing table with mirror. Thanks to its wide doorway and accessible wet room and toilet just down the hall, the bedroom is perfect for wheelchair users or those with mobility issues. One of the beds is a Craftmatic electric bed with electric control.

This twin bedroom has a wonderful view over the garden, river and fields. It is furnished with two single beds, smart TV, a wardrobe, an antique chest of drawers with a swing back mirror and a pretty, folding antique cane chair.

The largest of the en suites with a great view over the countryside, features a corner shower with a handset shower head, a WC, basin and mirror.
Bedroom Four:
This delightful double bedroom overlooks the fields and features a beautiful, hand sewn patchwork quilt across a double bed. The room has wardrobe space, smart TV, and a beautiful, antique dressing table with a mirror and a Lloyd Loom chair.
En Suite:
This en suite features a corner shower with a handset shower head, a WC, basin and a vanity unit.
Bedroom Five:
This spacious master bedroom features a double bed on a pretty, rosewood frame with walk-in wardrobe and a gorgeous hand turned chair and antique chest of drawers with a smart TV.

Outside
One of Kingfisher Cottage's many highlights is its wonderful outside space. The spacious garden is full of vibrant country flowers as well as a lawn area for children to run and play. Quaint bistro tables are a lovely spot for morning coffee or afternoon tea while a large patio terrace, accessible via the cottage’s conservatory and kitchen, offers a great spot for an al fresco dinner or barbecue with its long dining table seating ten. When the sun is out guests can relax on the sun loungers while listening to the babbling sounds of the stream that meanders alongside the garden. Step through the garden gate into the beautiful field and join a footpath for long country walks in this wonderful part of the Cotswolds.

Kingfisher Cottage is situated in the middle of a residential area, in consideration of our neighbours we respectfully request that noise levels are kept to a minimum after 10 pm, especially outside on warmer evenings
Suitable for disabled guests, wheelchair, shower chair, electric bed and ramp provided on request. (Please request electric bed controls, entrance ramp and any other mobility amenities on booking.)
Bedroom Three, the first-floor twin bedroom, has low ceiling areas and so may not be suitable for tall guests.
