I liked everything. Absolutely gorgeous building inside and out. Convenient rooms as lovely as they are comfortable. The staff are charming and the breakfast was amazing.

This place is great! Staff is amazing. History of the ,mansion is intriguing and placed all over for viewing. Beautiful woodwork and rooms. The only thing i would change is the water pressure in the shower was low and the pillows weren't great in our bed. Breakfast was a showstopper! Would definitely stay here again.

This weekend was graduation we went to 3 of them in Iowa so after all that we were done with people We wanted a quiet night at the mansion Guess what they was having a graduation party We was told they would only be here from 5 to 8 they ended up not leaving till 9:45 So much for having a quiet night We’ve stayed there before and it is a beautiful place we will be back even after that Ty whiskey

We had a wonderful stay at this beautiful historical mansion. The hostess was warm and welcoming, and we really appreciated being able to check in a couple of hours early due to a family event. The home is located in a quiet neighborhood with easy street parking. Our room had a private bath and in room climate control, which made it extra comfortable. Breakfast was a highlight—delicious fresh scones and quiche! We especially enjoyed sipping our morning coffee on the charming front porch. We’d definitely stay again if we’re back in the area.

The property itself was very well kept, the rooms were nice, the staff were very friendly, and the food was tasty. The neighbor hood around the bed and breakfast was very run down with lots of vacant buildings which were boarded up and just overall not a very good neighborhood.

Beautiful house, cozy room, & FANTASTIC breakfast!

We stayed one night!! The home has so many original and beautiful features. We stayed in a room with a 2 queens and a full bath. It also had a fainting couch, chair, and dresser. It was below zero outside but our room was plenty warm!! We had an amazing home made breakfast in the parlor room. It was amazing and such a fun change from a boring hotel room.

The Whiskey Mansion was a great option for us. We had a party to attend nearby and this location was great. The inn keeper (Holly?) was super friendly and welcoming without being oversolicitous. The house itself is gorgeous and our room was very clean and comfortable. The breakfast we were served was absolutely amazing. You will get nothing like it at your “breakfast included” hotels. We would highly recommend the Whiskey Mansion to anyone who has plans in downtown St Joe and needs a spot to crash for a night or two.

A Step back in time.

We truly appreciated the uniqueness and history of this property. Most of the accommodations made us feel like we'd taken a step back in time. It was fun. Two items, we needed Kleenex and there was none provided. The second is, the neighborhood around the mansion was a bit sketchy, which was not a problem for us as we were only overnight.

Beautiful home and amazing service & food

What a great place to stay. It was our first time ever staying in a bed and breakfast. They were super welcoming and showed us around the beautiful home when we got there. We were able to check into our room which had everything we needed. Breakfast was incredible. We had a room with a bathtub and it filled quickly and worked properly. A little difficult to mop up the splashes but that's on us. I would absolutely recommend this place to anybody who's looking for a place to stay. And if you're from Kansas City or nearby and are looking for a good little place to go for a night away from town this would be it.
