Room was clean and well located to town. Only a short stroll to beach. Syadd dries my and helpful. Onsite parking was easy. Only improvement would be better / More stable wifi which was a bit patchy at tines.

Courteous staff, so well equipped with a washer/dryer in unit and drying rack. I appreciated the kindness when I checked in with help for my suitcases to bring them up to the room. With no elevator, that was much appreciated! I realize it’s a self-contained apartment and there’s no daily made service, but when I did ask to have the room tidied up, all they did was leave towels. Nothing was wiped down at all. I thought maybe they would just give a quick scrub to the sink and toilet considering I was there for four days. Access to the room did not feel very secure. Anyone can just walk up to the rooms by taking a flight of stairs from outside . The Parkade was more secure than the building. But having said that, I did have everything I needed, and it was a pretty apartment to be in.

My friend and I enjoyed our stay at this hotel. The room was perfect and spacious enough for us and we loved the big balcony looking out at the reserve. We loved the upgraded bathroom and shower. As well, the full kitchen allowed us to cook some of our meals on site and eat them on the balcony, which suited us perfectly. We also liked how central we were, close to the beach and the town. We would definitely stay here again!

Great, friendly, place

Excellent reception and very accommodating to our requirements. A very clean and well laid out room with everything provided for a comfortable stay including a washing machine. Location is good with restaurants, bars etc nearby, but sufficiently away from more noisy areas. Only small downside for us being older was the stairs. Highly recommend this place.

Parking is shocking around Byron Bay, The Shire is greedy and tourists will stop coming when you have a $5 per hour parking policy - so you get a coffee for $3.50 and pay $10 parking!! Ridiculous!! So you have lost me Byron Bay. Problem is, you can’t even park in the street to check in (maybe they should have a private spot) Parking at hotel is excellent once you have checked in, at the hotel car park I feel sorry for any business in Byron Bay as in my opinion, the Shire will close them up with their greedy policies!!
