The room was okay overall, but the best part was definitely the location — the beach is just nearby, and Byron Bay town centre is only about a 10-minute walk away. It was also great to have access to a BBQ area and a pool, which made the stay more enjoyable.

It’s an older motel & very close to the beach so a lot of obvious rust at base of wall , in bathroom & toilet & in actual rooms old plasterboard that’s falling apart

Nightmare Check-In: ​ ​No Staff: There was absolutely no check-in staff available after 5:00 PM. ​Security Risk: The key was supposedly left "under the mat," but it had already been taken by someone else. This is a major safety concern. ​Zero Support: There is no phone or chat support available at night. I was left stranded until they finally responded the next morning. ​Suggestion for Management: Stop leaving keys under mats. At the very least, you should use a secure lockbox with a code.
