This hotel only has a few things going for it: the staff and a decent pool. Other than that, it's a run-down location that needs to be completely overhauled. Your room temperature will be whatever the outside temperature is. We arrived on a Friday and the room was 74° plus the humidity. We turned on the thermostat, and by the time we checked out on Sunday morning, the room was 72°. The building is old and run down, with only one elevator working. The linens are old, the towels are paper-thin, and the pillows are not the greatest at all. You can tell the staff are trying their best, but they unfortunately don't have much to work with. Definitely not a 3-star hotel; 2 stars would be a stretch.

The convenience of everything you would need is surrounding the hotel and within walking distance. We didn’t find the staff welcoming, they were just there. Issues with kids taking over the pool area playing with life saving equipment and throwing a football around/over the pool area deterred guests from utilizing the amenities. Staff were slow to respond when it was brought up and by that point we gave up. We got to stand in a pool for 15 minutes and not enjoy it because of this. Didn’t see any housekeeping staff in the evening or custodial staff. Garbage, food, spilt coffee, leaves and dirt from outside left on the floor. Someone put a towel over the coffee spilt in the hall just around the corner from the check in desk. No garbage can in the bathroom, lack of towels and facecloths, no garbage bags or linen bags in the room, no tea or sweetener in the room just coffee. Usually hotels provide a pen and paper pad and a list of restaurants in the area/activities to do in the area. Some areas had dish buckets around the windows assuming from leaks. Only 1 elevator was working. We feel like we were provided the bare minimum at this hotel. Didn’t seem they cared for their guests. To us it was a place to lay our heads. Main reasons we chose this hotel was the price and the indoor pool. We might reconsider in the future only if we’re stuck, but not likely.

The room was OK but the furniture was beat up.The building itself looked beat up. Half pealed labels on the main doors , very worn carpet in places. What bothered me the most and probably set me off on looking for the negative was the front desk experience checking in. I went up to the staffer and said "Good evening" and started to give my name. They cut me off and the only thing they said was "ID." No welcome, no response to my "good evening." I physically felt the pleasure in being courteous to the staffer fall away. The front desk staff is the portal to your business. It costs nothing to do it much better.

This property is great for the price! It’s a must stay if you have kids. The pool is great the breakfast is solid for a free breakfast and the convenience of where it’s at is great!

This hotel was HORRIBLE. Our room was HOT. The ac didn’t work and the sink and tub were cracked and dirty/ stained. The water filled the tub during the shower. Maintenance came and gave us a fan and said the air was fine. We got a new room and had the worst sleep ever . Had to call the front desk twice because people were screaming and running and slamming around for hours. No food in the hotel besides the bar even though it advertised another restaurant and room service. No game room as advertised and poor employee attitudes. I should have asked to someone but we just wanted to go

The outside windows look.like they hadnt been cleaned in quite some time. There was no cushioned chair to sit in to watch television. There is room for improvement on this property but the stay was pretty quiet and plenty of hot water.

The bathroom shower did not work taps were broken and the tub had the interior sides and bottom peeling away with chips in the tub. Not sanitary could not use only water was from the sink told front desk but nothing done and no alternate room offered. Will not be back. Had been coming several times a year over the last years
