You need to get the keys from the pub next door, I don’t think I saw any staff in the hotel It’s noisy when people are coming into the hotel at night, so not the most restful night sleep, but well priced if you just need somewhere to sleep after a night out

Excellent location, a short walk into town and some excellent cafes and restaurants nearby. Comfortable bed and spacious room, everything clean. Owners very friendly and helpful when we booked in. We were able to purchase a parking permit cheaply and, although parking tricky,we managed to find a space a short distance away. At time of visit there was only one towel hanger; some extra hooks and a shelf for washbags etc would be useful! Overall a very enjoyable stay!

Positives: Location was fantastic. Good shower. Negatives: Price extortionate (due to marathon day I assume). Room was very cold. No heating coming out of the radiators. Fridge was leaking water all over the floor. Cleaners were knocking on the door 15mins before checkout time.
