Welcoming staff at Reception. Fast friendly check in. Room was clean and comfortable. Very dog friendly. Good breakfast with extra sausage for the dog. Right opposite beautiful dog friendly beach. Nice walk along the promenade. Ideal place to stay for short break. We also was very lucky with the weather.

Didn’t have the room that we booked initially and paid for with Hotels.com. Room was awful, very old and dated. Room situated above the kitchens which made it very hot, staff smoking below our bedroom window , smoke travelled into our room Bathroom was dirty,

Smell of cigarettes

We had booked a nonsmoking room, and after not the best reception from the guy running the bar, we found our room. Sadly, we were met with an overwhelming smell of stale cigarettes and nicotene. The room was also very cramped. I could see my wife was quite upset about it all, so we asked for a refund and left. The landlady, to give her credit, was quite apologetic and offered us a part refund which we accepted.

Nice hotel if a little dated - the bathroom in particular could do with modernizing. But the room I stayed in was clean and comfortable, the staff were great and the food was excellent - especially the Full Welsh breakfast, very good quality and plenty of it! Would definitely stay here again.
