"Nice hotel close to river"
Very nice friendly hotel, especially the food in the Club. The only thing not to my liking was the hard bed and pillows.

"Nice location"
A nice hotel. But do not buy anything inside it, i.e., bought a bottle of water for only 7 Baht from a shop nearby, but from the hotel it was 140 Baht.

"Pretty nice!"
A great hotel right on the river. We stayed for New Year's Eve with friends and it was a fabulous evening with the hotel's very own amazing fireworks display. The staff was extremely accommodating. The only negatives would be that 1) you couldn't really walk anywhere from the location of the hotel (and we like to walk), but you could take the hotel's free boat shuttle across to central station; and 2) putting two double beds together to make a king bed doesn't really work since sheets and duvet are tucked in the middle, so it's just two beds put together.

On your first day, getting oriented is the first step. Walk down to one of the little piers and jump on a half-day tour, where you’ll have a long-tail boat to yourself as you experience a very different view of the city. The Chao Phraya River is like an artery into Bangkok’s heart, with an ever-changing scene of ferries, water taxis, cruises and barges motoring past. As you venture deeper into the ‘khlongs’ you’ll notice that the areas tucked away from development have maintained much of their original charm. Don’t miss a stop at the floating markets, run by sellers that have storefronts right in their canoes!

The most stunning temple in the city, Wat Arun (the Temple of the Dawn) is unlike any other temple in Thailand and definitely worth a stop as you pass by. After a few photos grab a ferry and cross the river to Wat Pho. You’ll be greeted by a huge reclining Buddha, and another opportunity for some fantastic pictures. Once you’re done sightseeing, Asiatique is the next stop on the riverside for some great shopping and a wonderful dinner overlooking the river. You’ll find unique souvenirs and some great little restaurants to try. It’s one of the places the locals love to go too, so you know it’s got to be good.

Nightlife around Riverside has much more charm than some of the other areas of the city, with posh cocktail and chic jazz bars making up the majority of hotspots. If you're feeling like letting it a little bit loose, the party boats on the river offer fantastic karaoke and discos, though they finish by midnight to maintain the calm on the river by night. You’ll just have to head to Sukhumvit or Thong Lor to keep the party going!

Bangkok’s Riverside has transformed itself from the old heart of the city to a premier location full of character, classy establishments and top-notch hotels. Book yourself some fantastic Riverside accommodation and relax in luxury. That’s what holidays are for, right? Only a cheap flight to Thailand away, Riverside is a great destination for your next trip!
