We highly recommend Avani . The rooms were spacious, clean and had everything you need. Staff were helpful and friendly. The breakfast was one of the best we have ever had. Would definitely stay here again.

First place I ever stayed in Bangkok, and I have been back a few times. Connected to the Anantara, which is right on the river, and I believe a sister hotel, the rooms are not quite as nice, but still very good. Cheaper than the Anantara, and depending on the type of trip you are having, I may prefer this. Beautiful rooftop pool with a view, rather than a ground level family type pool.
