Beautiful scenery

Pros: The old fashioned majesty and comfort, real fires etc.
Cons: It will need maintenance. Even small things like the tissue box falling apart in bedroom.
Location: Fantastic walks
Food is great. Swimming and spa also. When asking about Dr over the weekend needed to be told about the NHS phone line for weekend consultations when no GP open

Pros: Its unique character and spaciousness plus the grounds. The guests and staff were calm and pleasant.

Location: We liked being above the
