I did three different resorts at three different cities. Bacalar Playa Del Carmen and Cancun. My favorite resort was Cristalino by far. The front desk were so nice very kind great service and always smiling. The food was cultural and very delicious. The view you get while eating at the restaurant on site is the best! The pool was warm so when it was chilly it was great. The lagoon view from my room was great. The house keepers were great! They left my room spotless every time. The transportation was easy they order you a taxi, with in 5 to 10 minutes he was outside. The room service was fast and easy, your food was in your room with in 20 to 25 minutes. Close to the city but far enough for it to be peaceful and quite. I recommend this place 5 out of 5.

Very clean, attentive service, beautiful docks and views. Gorgeous property and people. Lovely check-in service but involved a long contract of rules and threats of additional charges which made me anxious. Only given 1 plastic room key between the two of us and told we would be charged if it was lost. Didn’t love the restaurant food at all (seafood soup was akin to licking a salt block, avocado toast was on a soggy sweet bread). My husband’s rum and cola cost 400 pesos for 2 ounces of rum plus another 75 pesos for a little bit of coke (about $40 Canadian). The equivalent of buying a bottle of each.

My friends and I enjoyed the hotel. I paid for a room for two people but another friend from Cancun joined us. When we arrived to the hotel they charged me extra 80 dls for the extra person with the same room. I asked for a bigger room but they didn’t do it. So we had to share the bathroom and two beds. I wish they had given us a bigger bed.

The rooms were way better than expected — cozy and nice. The A/C didn’t work properly, but overall, it was a good stay. The staff was friendly, though a bit bossy. If I may share some honest feedback, I felt overwhelmed by the number of rules and restrictions. They made us sign documents, followed up repeatedly via WhatsApp… I’m not sure what kind of guests they usually get that would justify this approach, but personally, I’m not used to being bossed around — and I didn’t enjoy that part at all.

Our stay at Cristalino Lagoon Front Hotel Restaurant & SPA was absolutely wonderful. The property is stunning, with breathtaking views of the lagoon that create a peaceful and relaxing atmosphere. Everything was spotless – the rooms, common areas, and pool were all kept immaculately clean, which really added to the comfort of our stay. The staff went above and beyond to make us feel welcome. From the warm check-in experience to the attentive service throughout our stay, every interaction was friendly, professional, and genuine. They were always available to answer questions or provide recommendations, and their hospitality made us feel truly cared for. We also loved the on-site restaurant. The food was fresh, beautifully presented, and offered a nice variety of dishes alittle overpriced but delicious food and nice presentation. It was a highlight of our stay to enjoy delicious meals while overlooking the lagoon. Overall, Cristalino Lagoon Front Hotel exceeded our expectations in every way. It’s the perfect mix of comfort, beauty, and outstanding service. We highly recommend this hotel and would definitely return!

Tengan cuidado con este hotel. Terrible experiencia con el trato en este Hotel ya que con engaños nos robaron el dinero pagado por la estancia. Mi error, no haber leído la letra chiquita y llegue con un bebe de 1 año. Tenia reservadas dos habitaciones, en cuanto vieron al bebe, inició el mal trato, cortantes me dijeron que no aceptaban niños y que pidiera mi reembolso a Expedia, me retiraron el agua que me habían dado y me urgieron a irme. Tramite mi reembolso con Expedia y el hotel se negó a hacer la devolución de los 2,331.88 USD que pagué. No me regresaron un solo dólar, se robaron todo mi dinero.
