Enjoyed the pool , lots of plant seeds in pool .. but this is to be expected as it is surrounded by large plants 😃.breakfast was good , and free . Game and library was nice to have at night with a drink . Alejandro , young bartender was super nice . Staff was super helpful with allowing out baggage to be kept in hotel whilst our room was being prepared. I received a note in too. Saying enjoy your free gift ? Have no clue what gift they meant . Oh well lol . Free beach towels and bag for day trips . Love the feel of the room , boho, tropic with privacy

This place is a gem! It’s very unique and I love how quiet it is. Perfect to get to town (10 minute walk) or the lagoon (5 minutes). Staff was very helpful and friendly. I would definitely come back! Actually can’t wait to come back to this gem of town and boutique hotel!

Beautiful hotel located in a noisy neighborhood. The hotel itself was great with amazing ambiance, room was amazing as well but with barking dogs in close proximity and roosters going off at 5am, don't expect to get much rest at this hotel unfortunately.

The property was amazing! The staff and service was great! Breakfast was great! ATM on property which was very convenient! The only complaint is that you can hear EVERYTHING inside the treehouses, including our neighbors having sex! Loud sex! At 2am.

This hotel really needs to start offering laundry service, heat the pools, and have a dinner and room service option for guests. That would make the experience much better. Neighborhood is loud so maybe some white noise options in the room would make the experience more pleasant as well

Not only was the property lovely, the food was delicious and the staff were above and beyond kind and helpful. While I was there, I needed medical attention. The staff worked as translators with the hospital, set up taxi rides, and checked in on me frequently. So generous. The pool area is clean and calming. My hammock on the porch, alluring. The beds were comfortable and the showers hot. No complaints at all. Casa Hormiga is quiet and peaceful. It is only a few blocks to the lake or the plaza... very convenient. I'd stay there again any day.
