Villa Fontaine - accommodation in Asakusa

Very convenient location for trains, shopping, grocery stores, sites, and is directly across the street for the drop off/pickup for the Airport Limousine Bus should you opt to utilize that. Overall loved our room—separate tub and shower so we could shower on outside of tub and soak in tub after a long day of walking. Also liked that the clean (new?) toilet was in a separate room from bath area. Liked the hair dryer and iron which seemed new and a bit fancy for the type of products. Bed and bedding were great, however, the pillow were quite firm. Asked if softer pillows were available but none were. In this room the tv was far from bed. Note: There are two elevators, one of which can go directly up to your floor and down to the first floor to exit so as to avoid having to ride the escalator. If you want to go down to the first level just press the lower down arrow on the “handicap” side. Definitely a must-stay especially if you can get it for a good price!

Overall the single room I had was good. The bathroom was surprisingly spacious for a single. I just wish the room had a small fridge to keep water in. The lobby does provide free water from a machine, but I would have liked to have my own bottle of water cold in my room. The staff were very helpful and friendly. Overall I would say it's a nice hotel because of the price and location.

Centrally located in Asakusa, right next to the Senso-ji temple. Rooms are very clean and on the smaller side. Amenities are great.
