Great location to all transport to get to anywhere in town. Room was modern and comfortable. I personally feel cold at 22 degrees C or 72 degrees F. Thermostat never allwed the room to get warmer than that. I was able to stay warm with provided robes. Furnishings were comfortable, Wi-Fi was stable with fairly high speeds. Room was quiet despite all the noise from the trams when the window is open. Breakfast was included in rate. It was more than adequate. You could place orders with wait staff if the item is not part of the buffet. For example poached or fried eggs, omelets, and porridge. Wait staff were also efficient at clearing your table. I also had a light dinner from the bar and fine dining at their brasserie. Quality of the food and service at both venues could not be faulted. I enjoyed my stay there and would return on future visits to Amsterdam.

Nice Hotel. Great location if you are traveling by train. I paid extra for a room with a view and it was worth it. Hotel was clean. I paid for breakfast which was on the expensive side. Nothing fancy. Staff were all pleasant and made you feel welcome. I had an issue with the USB port on the room. When maintenance came up to take a look We realized it was the phone. He walked me to a nearby store and I was able to get the phone working. He went completely out of his way for me. Dont find this too often. He was a true gentleman.

1. Location was great – right by central station so easy to walk just about anywhere. 2. Concierge team were nice /helpful 3. Room layout not good. No place to put my bags on floor without tripping on them or blocking closet doors. 4. Room features are odd – all electronic lights so when you leave the room there is no shut off button and there is no light dimmer on the bathroom so if you have to pee in the middle of the night – well good luck wake up the entire neighborhood turning on all the lights – assuming you can even find them. a. Plug – horrible – they actually had 2 usb ports but instead of charging they drained both our phones overnight – not great! All other plugs were European only. Compared other hotels we stayed this trip who had a variety of European and us plugs that all worked. b. Unlike the other hotel we stayed this trip the mini frig was loaded with paid for crap and the shelves were such inside you could not even store a bottle of wine upright – design flaw. c. “” no robe or slippers left in the room – had to request them Front desk manager was rude and did not honor the advertised / represented perks that expedia / hotel said we would receive. I had to continue my point repeatedly and show proof of representation before any concessions were given and they still were not what was represented prior to arrival.
