It was just fine. The room was overall clean but the upholstery and furniture was in need of an update. The coffee machine had mould inside and not useable, hopefully that can make it into the cleaning list after flagging it to them on departure. Breakfast was again, just ok.

I stayed here for a conference. Very comfortable and quiet rooms. Service from staff was all very good. Not the best location for seeing Amsterdam as you are a bit out of the center. Hotel seems to empty and fill based on the river cruises coming and going.

Everything was clean. The food was good as well. The staff was polite but client service is at the standard level. What I like the most is the location of the hotel. However, this does not reach 5 stars because it does not reach the luxury that some institutions have in terms of room design or client services.
