Close to the Central Train Station and shops but a busy, dirty area. Streets full of cig butts, rubbish and smell of weed. Bed was excellent though. Our room was decorated in hessian which is very flammable and smelt funky. No fridge in room. Would stay East of Train station next time.

The area is quite nice with a lot of bars & restaurants around. The hotel is a little bit extravagant, but rooms (at least the one I had) quite small with a not very convenient view. However, for a night or two alone or as a couple it is definitely worth the price.

Good location for couple stay in Amsterdam
Decent location. Close to the station and the attractions. Small room but functional and clean. Good shower.

Chosen for convenience to the main train station, The Exchange was clean and comfortable no-frills accommodation with creative touches. Staff were ok and helpful when I needed a phone charger due to no USB point in the room. As it was a Sunday it was also quiet, but I imagine that's not the case on other nights, being on the main central street and from previous experience!

Great location Hotel -Very "weird" entrance to Hotel - Room was small and bed was wall to wall - so had to "climb" over the other person to get in / out - but the bed was soooo comfy and clean. All good
