Bright, loud and that was before building started.

The staff were friendly enough. However the doors have about a 1 inch gap below so light comes in significantly and any sounds from others coming and going. Also despite a notice in the lift explaining that there would only be building noises in daytime hours after 9/10am there were very loud noises of scaffolding being deconstructed from 5am. I slept awfully and since that was all I was using it for I was very disappointed.

Really nice affordable hotel.

Nice hotel and exactly what I was hoping for when I booked it. I stayed here with my teenage daughter. Very convenient to the Central Railway Station, close to cafes and shops, and a short walk to the canals and Anne Frank House, but also nice and quiet and away from the red light area. The hotel was in pretty good condition for the price, breakfast was better than I thought it would be, and the staff were all really nice. The room was a little bit small but I expected that. I had to pull the single beds apart which was slightly annoying and the beds are quite small (but I still slept well). Definitely recommended.

Great location, rooms are not the cleanest as there was several stains on the bed sheets and also one thing that was annoying was the shower head did not stop running water and if not controlled while showering can flood the whole room. Apart from that can’t complain for the price

The room was fine for 2 people but the en suite was a squeeze to get to the toilet which was only 6inches from the shower door! Shower was good but leaked water from the door all round the toilet. Have stayed at the hotel before but this stay en suite arrangement was not good

We had a lovely three day stay and the location and hotel was perfect for a city break. The rooms were clean and the staff were very helpful. Location is absolutely perfect. You are in the middle of everything and no need to take tram/public transport to any of the sites. The five minute walk to the station was also brilliant. Breakfast was fresh and plentiful. We will definitely stay here again on our next trip to Amsterdam.

Absolutely terrible experience. Travelled with my family and had booked a family room that had a separate loft for our children. The room we were given was obviously set up for back packers not a family. Staff did nothing to help. Our room had bed bugs, with my wife and one of our children getting severely bitten. STAY AWAY AT ALL COSTS.
