Cleanliness was an issue. Dirt on the baseboards and around the toilet. Dust on the toilet paper holder and the tv stand. There was a glob of something that floated around when I turned on the shower. The cup on the sink had dried toothpaste on it. We stayed one night and didn't really notice all of this until morning. I don't think i would have been able to sleep.

The decor was super cute and the outdoor chess set was fun for the kids. The housekeeping and facilities were lacking. When we got to the room there were stains on the rug and the corners of the room were dusty and grimey. The toilet tank leaked when we flushed, so they had us change rooms. The new room was a bit more sufficiently cleaned, but the toilet paper holder was broken and dangling. There was still quite a bit of dust and grime around the edges of the room and there was a piece if paper trash in the shower. Over the course of the stay, the room got dirtier and dirtier, and housekeeping didnt clean at all the final night we were there, even though we had asked them to every other day. As far as amenities, the lounge was only open at times that were inconvenient for us, and we were only given the pool code after the second day we were there (we just assumed it was closed before that because nobody mentioned its hours or that it needed a code upon checkin). Overall, the stay felt lacking in what at other hotels feels like average hospitality. The staff was very nice when we saw them or interacted with them, and the design choices throughout the hotel were fun and welcoming. I just wish the upkeep and cleanliness were on par.

This motel was SO cute! We came for a tour of UNM and it’s right in Nob Hill near restaurants, shops and the school. Staff was very friendly, room was clean, speakeasy was super cool, all the decor was funky and the heated pool was even open! Perfect for our quick trip!

Great location. Cute hotel, but a little rough around the edges. There was only 1 bath towel and I had to ask for coffee pods at the front desk. I wish it were clear on the website that there is no microwave (only a fridge) I would have brought my steamer to heat my food. The "heated" swimming pool was not usable - just close it for the season- no need to lie. Other than that, a pleasurable stay.
