My wife and I had booked a stay at this hotel for Friday night before a 6:00 am Saturday flight to go on vacation out of the country. We left after work on Friday (6:00pm) to head down to stay at the hotel but we ended up with a flat tire at about 8:30pm 50 miles outside of our home city. With no service stations open and no other option, we had to turn around and go home to switch cars and sleep for about an hour. We woke up at 1:00 am and drove to the NOLA airport to get checked in for our 6 am flight. I called Hotels.com and they checked with the hotel but they denied our request for a refund as we were not able to use the room. I'm beyond disappointed this hotel held so strong to their "policy" when this issue was out of my control. We would have loved to stay at this hotel but circumstances outside of our control prevented us from staying.

Upon checking in the first room that we received was on the bottom floor, and the room smell like mold. Went to the front desk received another room, In this room we had roaches. Customer service was excellent housekeepers not so great when it comes to communication.
