The hotel entrancexwas welcoming and the staff were very polite. Going to my room on the 4th floor there was in the corridor an empty wine bottle, further down were 2 plates with half eaten food. These were there for a number of hours. My room was spotless apart from a couple of stains on the carpet. One of the bath towels had a huge hole in it.

I booked a kings room and they gave me a small twin room, Furniture in the room very deteriorated, carpet dirty. The breakfast was very limited and didn’t even have fruit. I will not stay there again considering the high price

Parking was good, plenty off room. Reception desk person very good and helpful, my only issue was one member off staff and waiting in a cue. Hotel was good and generally pretty clean and tidy. Staff were helpful. The main thing was the breakfast could and should be better- Quality not great, and freshly cooked. Most off the food had been sat in the dishes for far to long, and tinned mushrooms where terrible! Fresh mushroom are a must. Our room was nice and bed comfy and a nice welcome break.

Comfortable sleep.

Easy parking. Rooms looking a little tired but very comfortable bed and very quiet. TV didn’t stay on , kept flickering on & Off ( could have been the weather). Reception staff very polite and friendly. Breakfast was OK. The music blasting from the kitchen clashed with the ambient music playing throughout the hotel.

There was nothing much around the area and the Taxi service was pretty poor on Sunday morning but everything else was fine . There was a lack of staff behind the bar though in the evening. Breakfast was very good and the rooms were very clean and comfortable. Staff extremely friendly and helpful.

Problem with flashing light on bedstead, reported this first night and again second night light still flashing, to not working, this was reported and now only partially works. Workmen coming into dining area for breakfast complete with hi-vis working clothes and wellies/boots whilst we were trying to enjoy breakfast.

poor service

booked a superior room which was double kind size bed, unpacked , tv not working so we were moved next door room which was two singles and room very dusty and unloved with stains on bedside cabinets, with no dressing gowns or slippers, on complaining at checkout only offered 20%discount on first night. overall no treated well and majority of staff need to go on a course on how to smile at guests and be polite. would not stay again
