Cute lodge rooms by Yellowstone Lake. Fantastic views over the lake from the Restaurant. Staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Quieter part of the Park bit close to the lower loop.

Great location and friendly staff. The room is relatively small but clean and well maintained. The food in the dining hall is good; however, reservations are required in advance. Even with a reservation, there may be a wait during busy times, so it’s best to plan accordingly and be patient.

The rooms were small but spotlessly clean and housekeeping were excellent. The beds were very comfortable and the location was great for exploring Yellowstone. The reception staff were very helpful and the serving staff in the restaurant were good. There are no facilities for cooking in the rooms and the only option on site is the restaurant, the lakeside restaurant was not open. The food was OK but there was little choice and you must book to be sure of a table

This was very good hotel with excellent location in Yellowstone and services was great. However, it was bit darker inside the room. And GPS hit a hard time to find the Check in registration office. No more complain about this hotel.

Don’t expect too much as far as amenities go, it is owned by the federal government. Room was very small and shower was about the size of a travel trailer. The restaurant was ok for what it is, and it’s the only option around so just don’t have your expectations too high.
